C.K. Ramamurthy, born on December 15, 1965, in C.S. Pura, Karnataka, is a distinguished entrepreneur and a dynamic leader. With over three decades of dedicated involvement in local politics, Ramamurthy has held numerous organizational positions and successfully contested elections, making significant contributions to his community and the political landscape of Karnataka.

Early Life and Education:

C.K. Ramamurthy was born on December 15, 1965, in C.S. Pura, Karnataka. From a young age, his visionary mindset and natural leadership abilities became evident. His college years were formative, providing the foundation for his future endeavors in leadership and entrepreneurship.

Political Journey:

Under the guidance and influence of the late B. N. Vijaya Kumar, C.K. Ramamurthy joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the 1990 Ram Janmabhoomi Rath Yatra undertaken by L. K. Advani. Since then, he has been actively involved in the party, participating in significant movements and protests, including:

December 1992: Participated as Karsevak at Ayodhya during the Babri Masjid demolition

1994: Participated in the Hubli Eidgah Maidan protest at Hubli
January 1992: Participated in the Kashmir Chalo Movement led by Murali Manohar Joshi
Electoral Success:
C.K. Ramamurthy contested two terms as the BJP candidate for BMP and BBMP councillor elections for Ward No. 58 and 168 during 1996 and 2010, respectively, winning both elections successfully. He was elected as Chairman of the Town Planning and Development Standing Committee, BBMP, in 2011-2012.
